About our Teachers

In Haiti, a person is allowed to each in grade school if they have completed ninth grade. We at Damou Christian School allow someone to teach only if they have completed tenth grade, and we require them to continue their education.

They teach for us in the mornings and attend high school in the evenings. Their teaching position at DCS allows them to continue their education.

Any one who is offered a job with DCS must complete a three month training program. Every summer, all teachers attend a one month seminar.
